Wow… time is really flying. Ella is already 7 months old and will start to crawl any day now. The house we are building is also taking shape - seems like yesterday that we were still sitting over plans racking our brains about every little detail. To then suddenly stand in the almost finished basement like we were able to do last week-end is just amazing. It does look quite different than on a plan - some things suddenly seem a lot larger others a bit smaller than we thought. I (Andy) saved up 3 weeks of my holidays to be able to go up and work on it. The first week will be in November and from there it will be every two weeks until Christmas. Until then the house should be up and standing and we will spend some time next year working on the interior. But first we need to finalize bathrooms, kitchens, electric outlets, plumbing etc… all these details do tend to take up a lot of time. It’s amazing looking back at the original plans and seeing how much we’ve changed in the meantime. We are getting really excited about it and look forward to the first BBQ we can have out on the lawn.
