I've been getting pretty busy lately working for the church, which has kind of surprised me because I thought it would be an easing in process and I would have plenty of time to get sorted...but its turned into a real "full on" 3 mornings which has been good, but also sometimes a bit stressful being chucked in the deep end so fast. We attended our first church members meeting last week and it was funny hearing them discussing about my job description and asking people to vote on various things, with me present! A new experience. We got introduced officially in Church last Sunday which was great, too. We had to get up and be interviewed by the Pastor and then He prayed for us. Its amazing, when I think about what God did in my heart the first time I went to that Church a couple years ago. I remember the first time I went there, Tom Bloomer was doing a tour of the Historic Old city of Geneva in relation to the 16 century reformation, and he took us into this church at the end of it, just to spend some time reflecting and praying for the city, and the churches in Geneva. And God really stirred my heart that day about that church in particular and I really felt that one day I would somehow be involved there. But little was I to know just how involved! Its amazing what God does!
