We are proud to announce the birth of Liana van der Gugten.
After 15 hours of labour, which wasn’t going anywhere, a very tired mother to be asked for a c-section. It turns out this was the right choice as the doctor found that the scar tissue from the last c-section was very thin and had attached itself to the muscles. Chances are it would have torn leading to a whole bunch of complications. This way the doctors were able deliver a beautiful baby girl and fix the scar so that it will hopefully heal correctly this time.
